This afternoon while comparing Mint to Twitter on Alexa, I ran into the strangest thing:
According to Compete the top keyword driving traffic to Mint.com is – as might be expected – Is Mint.com (people going direct).
However, the second most popular keyword driving traffic is the Twitter account of Carl Ortutay. It’s strange because Carl is not a celebrity or well known founder. Carl doesn’t work at Twitter. In fact, Carl only has 15 followers. He seems to simply be a high schooler with pro grammar, who happened to have one tweet go viral.
