Cool news that Salesforce.com is acquiring Jigsaw.com for $142M.
I got to know the Jigsaw Team while building Workstreamer and I am really excited for those guys and for Austin Ventures who no doubt did well in the transaction. Jigsaw had one of the best viral loops I have ever seen: in order to access a contact (see someone’s full details) you need to provide a contact of your own: give to get. Importing address books, helps create for a crazy network effect. Wish I had thought of this model for CRM myself!
I also find it funny that just a few years back TechCrunch penned an article: Jigsaw is a really, really BAD idea.
Can’t call them all correctly I guess.
